The "D" Litter

We "borrowed" Sierra back (from our "B" litter) for our fourth litter.

The puppies - two boys and four girls - were born July 9, 1993. I remember it well: it was a hot summer, we had our house for sale and a new baby of our own. Dog breeders are, indeed, a crazy lot!

Sire: Can/Am Ch. Butterblac's Excalibur CDX, WC, Am CD - "Denver"
Dam: Can/Am Ch. Autograph BH Rave On Affinity CDX, WCI, JH, Am CD, WCX - "Sierra"

The puppies in the litter were:

Males:

Can Ch. Autograph Driftwood - "Kyber"
Autograph Danny Boy Riley - "Riley"

Females:

Autograph D'Hollander's Tara - "Tara"
Autograph Dark Wood
Can Ch. Autograph Dreamtyne Affinity Can CD, WC - "Wren"
(1993 - 2000)
Autograph Dunsinane - "Merlin"

Special Information:

I almost kept Kyber until my husband took a phone call from some wonderful people looking for a puppy. I didn't regret for an instant letting Diane and her family have him. He is a multiple puppy group winner and group placer.

My precious Wren came from this litter. Except for her father, she was probably my favourite Flat-Coat. Always happy, tail always wagging, always ready to do whatever I wanted. An avid retriever. She was the first dog I took in the obedience ring and earned a title with in three straight trials. Unfortunately, she had a life-long kidney problem and died shortly after her seventh birthday. I still miss her.
