The Boys Club
BBF Dunn's Rocky
Rocky was our introduction into the Appaloosa breed. We purchased this colt in 1990 at the age of 14 days. With high hopes to develop a breeding program with this loud foal, we began the search for mares. With two mares to start our program, we anxiously awaited the arrival of our first foal crop and lots of color. Our babies came but somewhere along the way the spots got left behind...so after two seasons with the same results, Rocky became our trusted family gelding. Rocky was the inspiration behind our journey with breeding these beautiful horses. Although Rocky is no longer with us, he will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories.............we will not forget you, Rocky.
PR Shacim Plaudit aka "Pistol"
"Pistol" was sired by the same stallion as Rocky out of our Koko mare in 1994. His dam was purchased in foal and we were glad with the results! Our son claimed this horse so we had him gelded and the fun began. It's been a real pleasure to watch them grow together. He just keeps getting better and is the biggest baby we have on the farm. He loves attention and makes sure he gets a lot of it. This pic was taken of Micah & Pistol in the Shawnee National Forest.
PR Seminole Wind
