Raijen at 8 weeks old

Who Me!!!!!

Raijen is 8 weeks old now......He is 3 lbs. Raijen is nicknamed the energizer bobcat. When he is up and awake he is on the move non stop. He does not walk, but runs. He is still on the bottle, but I love the time we spend together feeding. He is eating about every 4 to 5 hours. I still offer him Zupreem, but he prefers his bottle. Raijen is harness and leash trained. It was a lot easier than I anticipated. He does not like to use his litter box with regular kitty litter, he pefers to go outside on the grass. I attempted to accomadate him, and purchased some sod and placed it in his litter box. He will use it if we did not get the hint that he wanted out, but he much prefer the outdoors. So now I am growing grass inside the house for him. My friends think I am wierd. He walks on his leash in our yard at this time. He had his first shot, and took it like a trooper. His next shot is at 12 weeks of age. Raijen is still kenneled at night for his protection, and when we are not at home, otherwise he is on the run in the house.

Raijen met his new friend Zari. Zari is a unique dog, she is 6 weeks old in the pictures.Zari is owned by Wolfie. Raijen really likes his new friend. But Zari did not appreciate Raijens biting and they had a small tiff. Now Zari is petrified of Raijen. All Raijen wants to do is play with her, and she does not want to play. All Zari wants to do is run and hide when she sees Raijen. Hopefully this will change with time. Well time has changed Zari. Raijen and Zari had a play date,and they played well together. They were like a little choo-choo train. Sometimes Zari was the caboose and sometimes Raijen was the caboose.

These are some of our other companions at our home. The Guinea Pig is "Tama", she belongs to my daughter Brittany. The black cat is Dinkey. Dinkey was purchased as a rescue. She is blind in one eye. The black and white cat is Rowdy. We found him in our garage, he was about 8 weeks old when he became part of our family. Yo-Yo is our hybrid bobcat. He was given to us from a breeder who had cancer and needed to place her animals. Yo-Yo was named that, because when you put him down, he came right back to you. Yo-Yo is Raijen's BEST friend.

Here are some more of Raijen's friends......Noche is an 80lb black lab mix. Raijen loves to cuddle next to him, except Raijen then bites, and Noche does not like it. Noche was given to us from a neighbor, who found out the owner was going to kill all the pups, she could only rescue Noche. Blaze is a Lab/doberman mix, she was adopted from a rescue organization...she is older and tolerates Raijen, but that is about all. Ziggy is a retriever mix, he was rescued from our other neighbor, they were allowing there 2 year old to beat the dog with a broom, my husband went over and took the dog. Ziggy was about 9 weeks old when we acquired him. Raijen loves Ziggys "foxy" tail, but Ziggy does not like his tail messed with.
