"...TEN BROECK.--Wessel Wesselsen Ten Broeck was b. about 1636
at Wessen, Westphalia, Prussia; arrived in New Amsterdam on the ship
"Faith" Dec., 1659; m., Dec. 16, 1670, Maria, dau. of Coenraedt Ten
Eyck and Maria Boele; in 1675 removed to Kingston, N. Y. On Sept. 26,
1695, he m. Laurentia Kellenaer, widow of Domine Van Gaasbeek, of
Kingston. Sons were: Wessel, Conrad, John and Jacob. Jacob's sons
Wessel, Johannes and Cornelius all settled near Harlingen in Somerset 
county..."




Jacob Ten Broeck, son of Wessel Wesselsen Ten Broeck and Maria Ten
Eyck, was born 25 Mar 1688¹ in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY and died Apr
1746. He married Elysabet Wynkoop 17 Jan 1711/12¹ in Kingston. She
was born in 1690 in Hurley, Ulster Co., NY, the daughter of Johannis
Wynkoop and Judith Bloetgoet.




Wessel Jacobsz Ten Broeck, son of Jacob Ten Broeck and Elysabet 
Wynkoop, was born 7 Dec 1712¹ in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY and died
in 1747 in Harlingen, Somerset, NJ. He married Neeltje De Witt 5 Sep
1734¹ in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY. 




Jacob Ten Broeck, son of Wessel Jacobzs Ten Broeck and Neeltje De
Witt, was baptized 26 Nov 1742² at the Harlingen Dutch Reformed
Church. He married (1st) Marya Van Neste born in 1743, died before
1779. He married (2nd) in 1781 Anne Ten Eyck. The children of Jacob
Ten Broeck and Marya Van Neste were:
