A brief history is in order here. I am a Green-wing Macaw . Also known as Red & Green,Red & Blue or Maroon Macaw. I usually live in eastern parts of Panama thru much of South America ( Largly east of the Andes). I can grow to lenghts of 35 in. I am the second largest of the Macaws . Who is the largest you may ask ? I'm not telling ,this is about ME! Why am I not in the rainforest and on the www instead? Now that is a good question and its about ME. I was told by my nest mates ( by the way the one in the picture is named maRK ) that I have in the wild others like myself but not too many . I don't understand why . I only know that I was born in a place called Davie ,Fl. My parents were from that wild place and have been here for about 20 yrs. I was hatched 3-22-97 . We later found out I was a hen. I knew that all along but no one asked. My name comes from a Disney film called Aladdin. I am told I am much like the parrot in the film . I am not sure what that means .

I hate to wine but when am I going to get a proper perch ?
