Clark
University~
Clark University
is located in Worchester, Mass. The school first opened in 1887. Clark
is the oldest graduate institution in the US. Clark along with Yale and
Harvard are the only three schools in New England to be founding members
of the Association of American Universities. Clark was named after the
famous "Clark Lectures" presented by Sigmund Freud in 1909, which introduced
psychoanalysis to the country.
Kean University~
Kean University is located
in Union New Jersey. It was founded in 1855, and had become on of New Jerseys
largest institutes of higher learning. The University is located on 150
acres in union and Hillside Townships. It offers 45 undergraduate degree
programs and 26 graduate degree programs. With relatively small class sizes
Kean has been able to make learning a high priority.
Pepperdine
University~
Pepperdine University is located in Malibu, California. George Pepperdine,
created Pepperdine in 1937. For close to thirty years, Pepperdine College
was a very small undergraduate school located in south-central Los
Angeles. It was granted university status in 1971. In 1972, Mrs. Frank Roger
Seaver through generous donations helped Pepperdine open a new 830-acre campus
in Malibu. Pepperdine is affiliated with the Churches of Christ. Faculty
members of the University represent many religious backgrounds, and students of
all faiths attend.
