| The Nacogdoches Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing and promoting the humane treatment of animals while protecting the public by managing the animal population inside Nacogdoches. The shelter also adopts out animals to loving families and encourages all pet owners to spay or neuter their pets in order to keep the pet population down. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. till noon. You may email us with any questions. |
| Wanna help but you don't have time to volunteer? We are continuing our aluminum can recycling program with all proceeds going to our building fund. Donations are always welcomed--either pet products or monetary donations to P.O. Box 630648, Nacogdoches, TX 75961. |

| Chaplin is a resident at our shelter. He is a Scotish Fold. You can usually find him sleeping on the counter or a chair. |
| Neutron is also a resident at our shelter. He is a very big cat and you can usually find him roaming the shelter. |
