Located in beautiful Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Furry Foot Farms strives to provide the healthiest, .happiest, friendliest pets you've ever seen!    Our breeding program is strictly controlled, and we only breed those animals that we would like as pets ourselves.    We also handle our babies at a young age, so the baby you get is already tame.   We are not a large breeder, and we get a chance to interact with each animal daily.

Animals currently in our breeding program:

*African Dormice: Tiny, aboreal, squirrel-like creatures, that can even be pouch-trained.  Very gentle and sweet. We hand raise them from aproximately 3 weeks old, so they are very, very tame.  *Degus: These look like a big gerbil, but are actually members of the guinea pig and chinchilla family.  Very intelligent, and communicate with adorable squeaks, whistles, and chirps! *European Black Bear Hamsters:   As friendly as a dog!  They are larger than 'normal' hamsters, and have a soft, thick black coat.  Very cute!  Golden, Calico, Tortishell, and even PANDA bears are also available. African Striped Grass Mice: Also known as Zebra mice, these are beautiful little guys in pin-striped suits!  Watch them turn a piece of cardboard into a grass-like nest! *Russian Dwarf hamsters: Selectively bred for sweet temperaments- No Nippers!  We have the cool colours, BLACK, Sapphire, and Dove! *Spiny Mice:  The mouse in a hedgehog's coat!  Beautifully marked, golden mice, with NO mousy smell!  They are very entertaining.  Won't dive off your hand like many small critters do!

__Ordering:  Because we are a smaller breeder, every animal may not be available right away, and some animals may have a waiting list.   Female animals may not be available in certain species. __Policy:  It is the customer's responsibility to check with the local wildlife authorities to ensure that the animal is legal to keep as a pet in their area.  Furry Foot farms will not knowingly ship animals to areas where they are illegal.

__Prices:  Our prices are very reasonable, and we offer wholesale prices to customers with large orders.  Prices may change due to season, quantity of animals, and other factors, so please call or email us for the best price.   Petstores, please ask for our wholesale price list for larger orders.

Shipping: We will ship almost everywhere, however, the buyer must arrange the shipping to their airport from the Calgary International Airport.  Shipping by air usually runs between $30 and $70.  If the animals are going outside of Canada, they will need a health certificate.  If you would like to share shipping, please let us know where you are, and we will try to arrange that to save you money.  We expect that the buyer will find out the best shipping route, and will let us know possible flight times.  (We are very busy!)
