Welcome to NABFA!

This site, and the organization behind it, exist to celebrate the wonderful world of BICHONS!  If you have a Bichon - Frise, Havanese or Bolognese  - or know someone who does, or are just captivated by these charming and merry breeds, you are certainly welcome here.

NABFA exists to bring Bichons and their humans closer together, for fun, for education and for support of worthy causes that benefit our breeds. We are not  a "breed club" in the sense of a parent club who deals with breed standards and AKC or other registry requirements for acceptance. We are simply here to enjoy our dogs and each other. We do not want to take the place of  the parent breed clubs - we have our own areas to cover that, due to manpower and resource considerations, they may not be able to do as well.  We see this organization as a group of like-minded Bichon owners and fanciers who can learn from each other in an atmosphere of fun and respect.
