This first page is in memory of the first course I went to for the Dept. of Corrections. This was the Springfield, IL Police Department's Canine Handler Course. Here I have a group photo of that class and some thoughts about it....

They are the other team assigned to Southern Illinois and we work together, train together...
See him more than my family some weeks!

This page is for my wife Robin.... At one time, she decoyed and worked closely with Joeri and I to get ready for demonstrations or when there just wasn't anyone else I could get to help me! She is definitely a friend of Joeri!

are both our friends and our training buddies!

Canine Sgt. Jeff Grubbs and K9 Tommy of the Carbondale Police Department are friends, training buddies and we tend to push each other higher and farther as they are a great team! A challenge to Joeri and I all the time!

A friend, sometime training partner and a supporter of our work.

K9 Specialist John Axe and K9's Buck and Kazan of the IL Dept. of Corrections.
Our unit trainer, the man who has helped me become a better handler and
was responsible for helping Joeri and I achieve the levels of excellence we have.

K9 Spec. Jimmy VanHoveln and K9 Bullet of the IL. Dept. of Corrections.
A man who stepped into our Capt's shoes without a pay raise!

K9 Spec. Bobby Banks and K9 Nero of the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Was one of the new hires who went through the Springfield K9 Class and became my friend.
Distance seperates us and not much contact in training or work....

K9 spec. Clifford Smith and K9 Titan of the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Another guy I have been with from day 1 in our unit. Lives way up north!
