Our mission is to educate the public on the proper care of green iguanas and to change the way our communities think about iguanas being so expendable. We feel that the low cost and high availablility of iguanas in pet stores leads to impulse purchases, leaving the new loving owners ignorant to the proper care and information that is so vital to the success of the animal. Too often times, the new owner loves his/her new iguana but still causes it to suffer a slow, painful, and grotesque death. This occurs not because the owner doesn't care, but because the owner didn't have the proper information of the care of captive iguanas.
