"Panda Boy" sired seven calves - 4 boys and 3 girls. Of these, there were 2 black and white bull calves, two black and white heifers - Jeannie and Chips, two predominatly white with a little red bull calves, and a little heifer in white with red highlights - Dot. The four bull calves were sold in April 2003 and the young heifer calves have remained with their Mothers and the herd. We've posted a few pictures. Our last surprise of the season came with the arrival of "CHIPS". We had sold Panda Boy and all of the other girls had calved out...but no baby for "Aunt Molly". Then one evening, here she came with this beautiful black and white heifer. The boys promptly said she looked like Chocolate Chips...hence the name.
Our other two heifers that we've kept are Dot and Jeannie.
Dot looks a lot like her Uncle Cody and Aunt Faline...also red roan cattle from Clarabelle.
Jeannie was born while Jerry's Dad, Gene, was visiting...hence the name "Jeannie".
