Hello, my name is Kasey! When I came to Rescue, they said I was too thin, and very very scared... and I sure was! My mommy and daddy kept me on a chain in the backyard. I was afraid out there... it was always too cold or too hot... lots of bugs too. In the winter, they put me on a heavy chain in the garage. It was dark and cold in there, but at least my feet weren't wet from the snow.
I was so excited when my first foster mommy brought me home to her warm, cozy house! I got a bath and yummy food... lots of it! I learned what a hug was, too. Wow, I never knew what I was missing! My foster mommy placed me in a new home with another IG they called Liam... he was such a bully! We proved to be too much to handle, and our new parents sent us back to the Rescue program. We were so sad.
Then, just like a miracle, we met Niki, our new foster mommy. She took us because she said she had a new home for us. Hooray! We went to our new home... we were in an apartment that overlooked a busy street. We saw people and other furry friends all day, and we were barking our hellos to everyone! I guess they weren't too appreciative, though, because the neighbors complained that we were too loud and we went back to Niki. Sigh. We were only trying to be friendly!
Finally, a wonderfully family came all the way to Niki's house from a place called Ohio. They took one look at me and it was true love! My favorite person in the family was the one they called their daughter. In this picture, I am snuggled up nice and close to her... this is my new home! I have a warm bed, a nice yard, and lots and lots of those great hugs! I am so happy! Liam found a great home, too... click here to read his story!
