Hi, I'm Manon! I'm a lovely young lady of 2 1/2 years old, and I was just placed with my new family in April 2002! My mommy shed many tears when she had to turn me in to Rescue... but I am thankful to her for being so unselfish and giving me a chance to find the perfect new home for me! First, I went to a foster home where there were three other IGs, and that made me a little nervous... so I went to another foster home where I lived with only one other IG. |

At my new foster home, I
developed a great sense of self-esteem and learned how to play and snuggle with my IG
friend! My foster mom thought I was terrific and wanted to keep me, but her husband wasn't
ready for another IG just yet! And not to brag, but many, many people were contacting Niki
about adopting such a gorgeous little girl! Niki finally decided that a very special family in New York was the perfect one for me. And she couldn't have been more right... I am thriving in my new home, where I am spoiled and loved to pieces! I get along great with my new furry siblings... two IG brothers and two kitties, too! I feel like the happiest and luckiest girl in the whole, wide world! |
