OMG am I exhausted!  So today, since i finished all my craft projects (aside from MIL's Christmas present), i decided to tackle the kitchen ceiling to have it ready for painting.  First though, i had to vacuum because in the AM, i gave Amber some cereal, and well, it was all over the floors in almost every room!  So since this was going to be messy, I put Amber down for her nap and started to work on the ceiling.  Basically, i had to sand it down, the ceiling and the sides (it's sort of like a raised ceiling), and then putty up any holes that were there from the metal frame that was on there.  The whole kitchen, and me were white as snow!  LOL... that was not fun... especially to clean up.  Of course, i had a mask on my face and goggles to protect my face and not to breathe that stuff in.... but at least i'm done with it now.  So now, this weekend, i've got to buy white paint and paint it and then just buy the cover for the light.  It already looks so much better, and it'll look awsome when it's completely done!  I had to mop up afterwards as well because Amber did end up waking up as i was starting to clean up... so of course, she walked all over the kitchen floor and i had little foot prints all over the house!

Now the kids are playing in the yard. Amber's getting Robert wet with water!  She loves doing that (as long as he's happy to let her do it)!  I would take pictures, but well, it's all the same as always... plus i need to charge my camera.

I think tomorrow, i'm going to start removing the wallpaper in the bathroom that Frank "started" to but never finished.  That way, i can have both the kitchen and bathroom ready to paint hopefully this weekend.

Anyway, just stopping in to rant about my day.
