Hey all, it's after 4am and i still can't sleep. I feel asleep some time after midnight with robert but when frank came in the room to turn the tv off before 2am (he was going to bed late), since then i can't seem to fall back to sleep. I'm so tired but i just end up laying there and it's driving me crazy. So anyway, i'll just post my weekend update.
Well, friday night, i posted my horrid night at walmart and frank yelling at me when i got back.
Saturday, i ended up waking up late since i didnt' get to bed until about 5am. At around 9am, dog woke me up because the roofer came to spray some stuff in the room where there's a leak. But i see the damn guy still didn't actually fix the leak up on the roof because it rained again, and Amber's bed was wet some again! I'll be calling tomorrow as he said he'll come back when there's no rain and it's not slippery. I fed the kids and went back to bed. I was in and out of it, and kids were good and just played and didnt' really make a big mess of anything. So i got up around noon. I cleaned some, but not much, played with robert and the kids, and then got myself and the kids ready as we were going to that party. So when frank got home, we all got ready and i got toys ready for the kids for the grandparents house (frank's grandparents), and we headed out to ft. lauderdale to drop them off and then to the party. The party was nice, lots of people, beautiful hotel! The food was ok... i expected better, but it was good enough! We didnt' dance as i'm in no mood to dance, plus i remember when i was preggo with Robert and i danced at my staff holiday party, i so distinctly remember my boss laughing at me dancing with my belly, so well, i avoided that. We left at 11pm as we were both exhausted and although we wanted to wait for the raffles to finish, they split it up into two parts, so we just left. Oh well! We went and got the kids, both of them were still up! On the way home, we had to stop by frank's job because he forgot that the manager he had on was just a shift manager that he got ok to let her work and she didn't have the keys to close the store. So we stopped there for a bit. By the time we walked in teh door, it was 2am! Kids were passed out and just went straight to bed.
Sunday, today, we all slept in, and kids didn't wake up until 10am... frank got up shortly after, and i stayed in bed until 12:30. But as always i regret it later because frank lets the kids make such a mess that i had lots of cleaning to do. Then i started to finish up the bathroom and i puttied up any holes and painted the bathroom! And now it's all finished, and it looks awsome! I was going to do the kitchen ceiling as well, but it was 4pm or so, and we all started to get ready to go out. We decided to go back to Santa's Enchanted Forest (the one we went to 3 weeks ago that we got rained out on), and when we got there, we had a pretty good time! We ended up spending about $70 between food and games, but well, it was well worth it. The kids had a good time and we even got 3 big stuffed animals, and a small one! Robert went practically on every ride he could go on for his size, though amber was getting very bad and cranky, as again, this was a late night for her. I took plenty of pics, and i'll most likely post them tomorrow. By the time we got home, it was 11pm and Amber was passed out. I ate some and well, the rest is in bed and back to my first paragraph of the post of me not being able to sleep.
Tomorrow is another busy day. I have my 38 week appt. and i hope he'll check me to see if i have progressed any. I've been having some contractions so i hope they are doing something, but i know they are not enough at this point to put me into labor. But before i go there, i got to go to kinkos, print out my birth plan, toys r us to check for a crib mattress and after that, if toys r us doesnt' pan out, then i'll be heading to the other walmart after my doc's appt for the crib mattress. When i get home, i have to go to the laundromat and do sooo sooo much laundry. I have 4 comforters to wash and my couch slipcovers and baby's crib comforter, plus the bathroom rugs and dog towels. That is not going to be fun doing all of that, not to mention our regular laundry as well. Then when i get back, i intend to paint the kitchen ceiling, and put together the kitchen cart we got and the small bookcase for the hallway. So frank will definately be cooking dinner tomorrow, as i'll be way too tired anyway!
Tuesday, i just inted to wash Bobo and clean the house thoroughly so that way, saturday and sunday, both me and MIL will just do a quick good cleaning and all will be ready! And i will be done with everything! I still need to finish my MIL"s present, but i'll get that done. Oh yeah, and i cant' believe this woman from Creative memories still hasnt' even emailed me back! tomorrow i'll be calling her, and i'm going to be really stern, because this is rediculous now!
Anyway, i'm sorry i made this so long. I will go lay down and keep my fingers crossed that i 'll be able to finally fall asleep!
