So i'm still very surprised at myself that i'm still breastfeeding! And i must be doing it right because my nipples are not cracking or bleeding yet! lol (they did with robert when i breastfed for that first week) And it's not like i really have a choice because although i gave Kyle formula only from minute one, he doesn't want it anymore at all! I try to give him a bottle and he just won't take it, so he basically has been on breastmilk all week! Which i guess that is great! He still doesn't eat in long stretches. I have to feed him about every hour and a half to two as he only eats for 10 minutes or so and won't eat again no matter how hard or long i try to get him to eat some more. It gets tough at night with the sleep though him waking up so often, but i'm handling it! and i'm proud of myself! HE must be doing good with it as well. He's got the right amount of pee and poop diapers as they say he should so i guess even these short feedings he's getting enough out of them. He has his first checkup on tuesday morning, so i'm curious to see if and how much he gained. To me, it feels like he did gain some!
