Wow... so much feels like is going on in my house!
The Bad..... I had to use the water hose a few days ago in the yard, but no one got wet. I told Robert he couldn't play with it, and i went to get Kyle out of the swing and change him, and wouldn't you know it, water's on outside and he is soaking Amber! and he got himself wet some as well! I was furious. Anyway, needless to say, it all starts to go downhill from that day. Frank is sick again, and when he gets sick, it's usually pretty rough on him. Then Amber starts to cough, and then so did Robert. Now, all day yesterday and at night, as well as today, Amber's had a fever! My poor little girl, she slept for over 3 hours this afternoon and i just give her medicine and am keeping her dressed warmly now as we have a cold front coming through (i love it but for my kids used to this s. fl heat, it's too cold). She's so sad looking and i just hope it all goes away quickly. The meds are helping, and the fever basically goes away and then comes back a few hours later. Then last night, Robert had a fever also. I didnt' check how high it was, i just gave him medicine. Frank slept with him, and Amber in the early am came and slept with me and Kyle. Kyle still seems to be ok, and i hope it stays that way. Me, i'm starting to feel crappy too; some coughing and sneezing and i can tell i'm going to be losing my voice yet again! I just hope it all goes away quickly.
The Good......so we got our refund check and i'm so happy! The car we were going to get for me (used of course) happened to be sold the day before! :-( But the good news is, although we ended up buying one for more money, it's a better car, and although it's not an suv, it's a minivan, and that is great! We pick it up on tuesday as they are getting an oil change and all that stuff done to it and cleaning it and registering the temp tags until they do ours. Second thing i'm happy about, i just this week found out that we dont' have to move! Our landlord once again decided to not sell the house since we are still in it, so we can keep on renting and don't have to look for a place to move to again. Anyway, i don't have a washer and drier here, so i went ahead and got a set! I"m so happy, i wont' have to lug my dirty clothes to the laundromat anymore in the middle of the night (i go when all kids are sleeping). So my new washer and dryer are being delivered tomorrow! And i also got an all in one printer, scanner, copier and fax for a good deal! I have a dell printer and their ink cartridges are so expensive so i decided to buy one that the ink is a reasonable price. Frank's one indulgence was, we traded in the xbox and he got a PS2 and two games. Robert got a game, and for Amber we got a Diego dvd she wanted. We also got a new cordless phone, on of those that its two handsets. Our phone is so old and the battery just doesnt' hold out anymore. And most likely, we will still be buying an eliptical so that we can do more to help us get more fit. So i'm really excited with all of this stuff! Not to mention that class starts monday!
