Companions of a non-human nature
Meet Loki, the latest addition to our household.
  Here she is,  doing what she does best... absolutely nothing.
(There's a cool mouse-over effect on this picture - but it takes time to load.)
     She settled in really quickly... found the facilities suitable...
  It took us about three weeks to decide on her name.
In the end, my son's suggestion won.
We called her Loki like the Norse god of mischief and trickery.
We figured it was appropriate as:
she was a stray and tricked me into taking her home;
she never told me I'd have her family to support.
She had three gorgeous kittens.
One with a similar broad tabby coat to her without her white markings.
One with fine tabby stripes (almost spotty in places)
again, minus the white markings.
One which was almost black, long haired with all the white markings.
She is such good mother, affectionate and playful.
She had fun with those kittens.
  We easily found homes for them.
We fell in love with the spotty one and ended up keeping her.
