"MAX"

Farewell to a true friend.
For a first dog you were one in a million.
We brought Max from Anne Atkinson as an eight week old pup , for a rough shooting dog.We liked to hunt ducks and rabbits.

We had never intended to show him or do obedience.
In Obedience he was the first male GWP  & the first show
titled GWP to gain a CD title in Australia. He gained his CD in
four passes out of five trials with scores of 174,185,190 & 185.
Max easily obtained his show title, along the way winning
Challenge Dog at 5 Brisbane Royals in 1989,90,91,92 &94. He
also won Challenges as Toowoomba Royal & was competitive
interstate winning Challenges at the Classic & Spring Fair's in
Sydney in 1992,93 &94.
Max truly was a very special dog. Anyone who met him would agree.
A  GREAT AMBASSADOR OF THE BREED.
