All our cats have come from one place and one place only and that is the Gwinnett Humane Society. They were all cats that needed a chance at a better life and home. Since the adoption of Delenn and Avery I have become an active volunteer with GHS in which I find very rewarding.
My name is Ruffian and I am ~ 2 years old. I was rescued from Animal Control November 1998 and then placed into this foster home in January 1999 and have been here ever since. I was a problem cat and couldn't trust people, but my new fosters changed that. Mrs. Kim worked with me and gave me the love that I was always missing and longing for. I had a health problem that most people don't want to deal with but Mrs. Kim did everything she could to help me get better. I have IBD and with the help of medication ( short term ) and the correct food I am doing fine. I have even made a new friend in Mrs. Kim's home. My new friend is Delenn we run around and chase each other. We also like to wrestle with each other. I try to play with Avery but she doesn't like me very much but I will keep working on that friendship because I think she will come around. Mrs. Kim and Mr. Jim are in the process of adopting me which means I will not have to go back to adoptions any more and most of all it means I have a family of my own who will love and care for me.
