We raise premium quality, pasture-raised lambs. We believe that our small flock size, individual care given to each lamb, and rotational grazing produce the healthiest and best-tasting meat available. - Pasture raised, milk-fed lamb is naturally lean and lower in cholesterol. - Our lamb is free of antibiotics, hormones and other chemicals. We want our customers to come back year-after-year. Therefore, we strive to meet their individual needs. Purpose of creating this website When we first got sheep, we found it difficult to find information about flock management. There were few sources of information regarding the feeding, shelter, health care and breeding of sheep. Recently, this has changed and there is a lot of cutting edge information is available on-line. The number of entrepreneurial, small farms is growing in Central New York state. Unfortunately, much of the information available about sheep is geared toward larger farms and flocks. We're helping to fill this void. In this website we have compiled what we have learned, and are learning, as small scale producers of lamb and wool products. In the future, this web site will include: - a downloadable copy of our lamb order form - more marketing information - expanded health and managment information - small farm sites and resources Please keep checking back to see the progress we have made. |
