Our Photo Gallery

These photos give testimony to the variety and versitility of the Border Collie bred for its herding ability not looks.

Who says there's nothing to do on a farm when the sheep aren't being rotated?  Winter Fun, 2000.

Zoe at 6 weeks

Zoe waiting for command to, "go through."

"Good Boy Grendel"

Zoe's first time on sheep at 6 months.  Shadows of things to come (by?) . . .

Gren is an example of a typical border collie "ball-aholic."

Grendel showing signs of his "laid back" side at 6 weeks.

Yeats learns what the "dog days" of Summer are like.

Gizmo, Ming, Rusty, John, Yani, Leap and YEATS at 5 weeks old.

PeeWee is a bundle of energy.  He keeps us on our toes with his spunky personality and comic antics.

The "boys" finally agree to pose for a picture. "PeeWee, Lie Down!"

At 30 and 35 lbs., Zoe and PW are well matched in their size and playing styles.

Friends and Extended "Family"

Yeat's sister "Leap", owned by our friend Jody.  "Are there sheep at the end of this tube?"

We're hoping that Yeats turns out to be a "chip-off-of" this fine fellow - father, Joe, owned by John Viola.

Jude "Clark" at work - what a handsome boy!

Kale "guarding hay" in the back of Kevin's truck.

"Molly" is a border collie mix who "showed up" on Kevin's farm last Fall.  After surviving on her own last Winter, she's "decided" to adopt his farm and his dogs.

Tag -- chicken herder extraordinare.  And yes, he herds sheep too!

Even Yeat's sister "Echo," who is a cowgirl at heart, doesn't take her eyes off of the "woolies."

Printer, owned by Eileen Benedict, has performed well in many novice trials in the northeast -- and with "his" own flock of sheep.
