Entertainment... but at            what cost????

Rodeo's, Greyhound racing, Zoos, Circuses, Bullfighting, Traveling animal acts, Marine mammal parks, Horse racing, and the list goes on. Millions of people each year go to see these spectacls. The enjoyment we all get out of this and the money it brings in for the owners, but at what cost? That is at what cost is it to the animals that have to endure this?

Where do they get the animals for these acts, from the wild taken from their families and homes? Maybe originally, Zoos have also participated in selling of animals. In the end these animals suffer. Confined, mistreated, made to perform unnatural sometimes even painful acts in some cases. Low funds in some cases mean animals don't get the proper nutrition. The list goes on, until their unfortunate "retirment."

There are ways we can stop this, we can find out all the facts to start. By going to the
links page there are various links to other sites with alot of information on this subject. Then we educate others on this type of abuse. We can also campaign against it and look into helping your local organization against these acts. Animals don't diserve this type of mistreatment for our own entertainment.
