What is a Papillon? A Papillon is a breed of dog from the Toy Group. Originally descended from Spaniels they were once known as the Continental Toy Spaniel. "Papillon" is the French word for "Butterfly". The Papillon's beautiful ears resemble the spread wings of a butterfly.
