Our full color ad rates are the most affordable around, please check, the rates page for our new pricing on the color cover spots!! The Whippet Watch is mailed free of charge to US Resident AKC Hound Group judges (list updated yearly) which is a benefit to the advertisers as well as it gives the judges a behind the scene look at our breed. The Whippet Watch also supplies all advertisers with a proof of their ads! This gives a chance for ad text to be updated or modified for the best ad your money can buy! 1999-2005 All Rights Reserved Whippet Watch magazine & Mary Magee * The only US based ALL Whippet magazine * Mailed free to US Resident AKC Hound Group Judges * Ad proofs sent to all advertisers * International NEWS FLASH! As most know, the Whippet Watch (and Borzoi Digest & 1st Choice Collars) is produced by one person. There has never been an official staff of layout artists, designers, promotion specialists ... only one person with a few terrific friends who assisted out of kindness to proof read article submissions and the printing and binding companies who do the physical production of each issue. To say this one person (yours truly) stays busy is putting it mildly, and I've for several years now had many weeks of no sleep to keep both magazines as timely as humanly possible. As age is creeping up on me, I have to admit that I have to make some modifications to my work habits. One changes is that all advertising submissions will now go through Sally Long, our new onstaff Advertising Consultant, she can be emailed through the Contact page. Another change is the office hours will now be: Monday - Friday; 9 am to 4 pm (Central Time). All calls need to be during these hours please. While this may cause a bit of a slower production time and in turn a bit of a delay in receiving your new issues, however quality will not be compromized. Lastly, as of the end of July 2005 all website work will be managed by Evan Lamb, a very talented artist/designer who works in multiple mediums. I'm thrilled to have him onboard too! I'm appreciative of all those who have offered support and understanding with these changes! Mary Magee, Editor/Owner |
