Maltese

The Maltese seems to know that it is a very special kind of dog.
Does not like a lot of changes in it's routine.
Does not like untidiness.
Does not like being set apart from a family gathering.
The Maltese is very responsive to it's environment and needs understanding from
    the family it lives with regarding it's preferred comfort zone.
It is not happy left alone, but assurances that you will return soon go a long way
    in making a Maltese comfortable.
Does not like being wet and having extremes in temperature.
The Maltese thrives on gentleness.
The Maltese can romp and play with the most vigorous of any breed.
Maltese mature slowly, and it has been said many times over that the Maltese          
    remains a puppy longer than any other dog.
What seems to to suit it's owner in the way of comfort, usually suits a Maltese.
It is an ideal breed fo the elderly, for people living in an apartment and quiet households.
The Maltese will give lots of affection, but expects an equal return from it's family.
Will have clean elimination habits when properly trained.
There is no difference in temperament or affection between the male and female
     Maltese. They are equally love giving.
The Maltese loves to please it's family.  It will be obedient if proberly trained.
The Maltese loves to run.
The Maltese loves to be held.
Most Maltese loves to go for car rides.
The Maltese will be your best friend.  With a Maltese the saying  "Man's best friend"
    is it's motto.
