~A WALK~
Walking along with the sun on my face,
thinking of another time, another day, another place.
My hands in my pocket, thrust way down deep,
my mind is a whirl, my thoughts just won't keep.
So, I look at the sun blazing shiny & bright,
you wouldn't know my life wasn't right.
People all over are staring at me,
lock me in a room, throw away the key.
The times passes fast, sometimes very slow,
it doesn't seem I have the time to grow.
As I cross over a long metal bridge,
I look upon an outlying ridge.
I see some cows grazing on green land,
some silky white horses, looking so grand.
A farmer & his wife carrying some milk,
across a field that looks more like silk.
As I came to a crossing, a fork in the road,
I see a sign that bears some sort of code.
I look at the sky, so clear & blue,
I look at the grass, still wet with dew.
On my way, back to my home,
I think I'll sit down & write me a poem.
Walking along with the sun on my face,
thinking of another time, another day, another place.

The Little Blue Wonder Truck
Little Blue Wonder Truck,
Where are you now?

You were always around
when we needed a pal.

You took us to here
& you took us to there.

Once you nearly drove us
straight through the air.

Now you are gone
we'll remember you well.

Leaving with secrets
never to tell.

You shouldn't play with dead things, no matter what is that has died.
Don't go tinkering in a graveyard but look to things that have survived.
