My Work Pics |
I have been working in construction for the past 4 years, mostly as an equipment operator. Here are a few of my favorite pics which I would like to share with my friends. |

This is a Volvo, also fairly new. It handles like a farm tractor, but I like the controls in it better. Here, we are screening sand in Collingwood, ON. Of all the loaders, I probably have more hours of experience on this one. |

This is the loader I learned on. It's a Hyundai 740 and had only a few hundred hours on it when we got it. I loaded trucks and fed the screening plant with it in Creemore, ONT. Oh, and the pick-up is also mine. It's a 1990 Ford F150 XLT Lariat. |

And this is what I was operating in the fall. It's a 2002 Hitachi Rock Truck. It had 9.2 hours on it when I got in it - now, that's new! It's a 30 tonner (metric, of course). We are moving material in Brampton, ONT, on what will someday be a subdivision and golf course, or so I am told. |

This is the loader I plow snow with at the Honda plant in Alliston, ONT. It's a 760 Hyundai, and the pic doesn't do it justice. This loader is a real "big boy", powerful and smooth to handle. It's not a good shot of it at all, taken at night by a rookie photographer (hi Roy!). |

This is one of my favorite pics. It's my rock truck and as you can see, it is very stuck. Compare this to the last pic of this truck and you can see that the back tires are sunk about 5' into the mud! Oh, the dozer is also stuck - that was some rescue, Dennis! Haha. |
