As a member of the Bulldog Club of America, BCA Division II, and the Western Michigan Bulldog Club and AS A BULLDOG OWNER FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS, I have one goal in my breeding program...

TO PRODUCE THE FINEST QUALITY AND HEALTHIEST BULLDOGS POSSIBLE.
To that end, I have been breeding bulldogs (no more than one or two litters a year) using the very best sires and dams available.

The foundation dog of Wilson's Encore Bulldogs is Ch. Cherokee Eagle (Slats).

Ch.Cherokee Eagle(Slats)

Our stud dog, Ch. Cherokee Eagle (Slats) was sired by Cody Sickle's Champion Prestwick Gawain (a National and multiple specialty show Best of Breed and Best in Show winner)...

Ch. Prestwick Gawain
and Champion Supple's Lady Gertrude (a multiple Best of Breed and specialty show winner).
Slats is a standard 55 lb. dog who is a multiple Best of Breed winner and Non-Sporting Group winner who finished his championship (despite limited showing) in August of 1995. Several judges have remarked that he has one of the nicest heads they've seen with excellent "layback." He also moves beautifully, has good "balance," and is altogether an exceptional example of the bulldog breed.

Our foundation bitch is Encore Schooner Sutton's Bay (Fancy), a half-English import (sired by Canadian & Am. Ch. Wencar Silver Flame) who received major points toward her championship in both Canada and the United States despite limited showings.

Encore Schooner Sutton's Bay(Fancy)

Together, Slats and Fancy produced several fine litters of exceptional puppies.
Slats & Fancy & Puppies One of the "puppies" still lives with us---Encore Cherokee Hot-n-Now (Noodles). Despite being shown in a very limited way, she has eleven points and both majors toward her championship. In her first dog show at one year of age, Noodles won Best of Breed at Detroit's Cobo Hall, winning over more than thirty dogs and bitches and champions of both sexes. She is another fine example of the breed.

Encore Cherokee Hot-n-Now(Noodles)

Slats, Fancy and Noodles have produced some very nice litters and all of the puppies have been placed in show/pet homes following extensive interviewing of the perspective owners.

LITTER= On November 29, 1998, we had a "LITTER OF ONE" out of Noodles and a nice young male (Don-El's B. Barnabas) who already has 13 points at the age of fourteen months. (BARNEY RECEIVED A FIVE POINT MAJOR AT THE BULLDOG CLUB OF INDIANA SPECIALTY which had an entry of 150 dogs.)
