Veronica Anne Hudak was born on April 12, 1968 in Elizabeth, NJ to Tom & Doris Hudak. At the time, her brother Tommy (age 13) wanted a little brother, but her sisters, Susan (age 15) and Janice (age 10), won that battle.

At age 10, Ronnie and her parents moved "down the shore" to Middletown, NJ. In 1986, she graduated from Middletown HS South and headed off to Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. After graduating in 1990 with a BS in Management Science (Decision Support Systems), she moved to Northern Virginia and started working for Faraday (now called Oberthur Card Systems) as a Programmer/Analyst where she met Ken Moe in 1995 when he started working there. She moved on to American Management Systems (AMS) in May 2000.

Kenneth Lyle Moe was born February 21, 1968 in Silver Spring, MD to Lyle & Ruth Moe. While growing up, he traveled the world with his parents and two sisters, Suzanne and Rochelle. His favorite place to live was Denmark. Eventually Ken's family ended up back in Northern Virginia where Ken graduated from Herndon HS in 1986. He went on to James Madison University and graduated with a BS in Finance in 1993.

In 1995, Ken started working in the accounting department at Faraday. There he met Ronnie Hudak, who was the accounting programmer at the time. Ken has since moved on to Back to Basics Toys, now part of Amazon.com.
