Seasonal Care For Your Neo
Summer Care
The most important thing for summer care is plunty of
water and shade for the dog to get into. A dog house to get out of the
sun, perhaps a child size swimming pool so the dog can get into and lay
down. And lots and lots of fresh water. Becareful that the dog does not
do excessive excersize. If you live in a warm climate you will probly notice
your Neo digging to get down to the cool moist dirt, to lay down. You will
notice your Neo is less likely to run and play in the exteme heat, Dehydration
can occur if no water is available to the dog. Summer is the time of year
fleas are prominant and bathing
should be done on a regular basis.

Winter Care
In the cool weather you will notice your Neo will become playful
and ready to play. In the extreme cold weather, your Neo will need a dry
warm place to get out of the wind or snow. The exteme cold will also freeze
your dogs water. Dehydration can occur if no water is available to the
dog. There are electric heated water bowls available at pet stores, Wal-Mart,
ect. (If your dog chews or if you fear your dog chewing the cord, you can
bury it in the ground, placing a peice of wood over the top of the cord
then replacing the dirt on top the board and cord.)
