Chess is OFA Excellent and has passed his CERF

Chess has been in conformation, obedience, agility and herding.  He completed his CD obedience title in the USA at 8 1/2 years of age.  Shortly after that he finished his Novice Agility title.  He also gained one leg towards his Novice Jumpers With Weaves title as well.

Agility has always been his greatest love and he always ran the course with a smile on his face and a very happily wagging tail.

Unfortunately age has crept up on Chess and a slight touch of arthritis has stopped him from competition.  He still loves to go out and practice when he can though.

Now he gets to spend his days lounging around the house and chasing the tennis ball (his other favourite occupation)

You may still see Chess out in the show rings occassionally struting his stuff in the Veteran dog class.  He recently won Group 1 Veteran at a show in Massachusetts

Winner of the Veteran Dog class at the 3rd BC National
Multiple titled offspring in conformation, herding, agility and obedience
Multiple Best brace In Show Awards with his son Merlin
