Bonzo's Dogpages

Hi everybody!

My name is Bonzo and I'm a Jack Russell terrier. I live in Helsinki, it's in Finland. I'm still young, although I'm 15 years old. I was born in April, year1989. I still have very much energy and I enjoy to play with toys. I like to chew on bones (not real, but the ones made for dogs). I like also to go for long walks in the woods and snuff at messages the other dogs have left for me and of course reply to the messages. I'm a male, so it's sad that I do not have a girlfriend, not a permanent one. I don't know, why many other maledogs get angry when they see me. I think they don't like of my very powerful self-esteem. Many people loves my pretty face and my whole sweet being. I have also heard that I'm a big dog in a little dog's body! Many believe that I'm just a puppy, because I look so young! My colour is white, but I have brown colour at my face and a round brown spot on my right side. You can see me in the picture above.

So, in my homepages I show you pictures of me (of course!) and of my friends. My "real" owner gave me away a few years ago, because I wanted to be the boss of their house and their courtyard and so wanted the other dogs be also. I don't want to be still, I want to move all the time (of course I also sleep sometimes). So my first owner gave me to her sister (she looked after me already when I was a puppy) and now I'm very happy, because I can live in city (I do not live in the center of Helsinki, there are also trees and good routes to walk) and I can meet many other dogs. I have a wonderful grandmother (she is really my owner's mom) who also take me to long walks. I have adapted to my "new" home very well. I enjoy to be the only dog and get all the attention and care. Often, I also visit to my first home, I like to do that. There are two dogs, Dogi and Urho. Dogi is 5 years old. Dogi's mother is an Irish Wolfhound and father a Great Dane. Urho is a 5 years old Parson Russell Terrier. With Dogi and Urho lived also my childhoodfriend Hakki (Huckleberry), but to our sorrow Hakki died in August 2004, at the age of 12. Dogi and Urho lives in Hämeenlinna, an hour drivingtrip from my home. I also have a "cousin", a little girl named Pepita. She is my owner's sister's baby, born in August 2003. Near my homeplace lives Winston, 12 years old Golden retriever. Of course I have also other friends, but I don't have pictures of them.

There are two kinds of Jack Russell terriers, the Jack Russell terriers and the Parson Russell terriers. The two dog races differ from each other e.g. in appearance. Parson Russell terrier has e.g. longer legs. I'm a Jack Russell terrier.
