A Brat is Born

Bryn tossed and turned again. She feels sick, and can't get to sleep. Sephiroth sleeps behind her. She rolled over. Nah, let him sleep. For hours she lies awake in pain waiting for sleep to come. Sometime later, she does manage to fall asleep.
Seph: Bryn? Bryn wake up.
Bryn: 5 more minutes Sephy.
Seph: You've said that every 5 minutes for the last hour. It's almost noon. Are you feeling okay?
Bryn: No, not really.
He left the room. She slowly got up and got dressed. She went to the living room and flopped down on the couch.
Seph: I called a dr. You can go in anytime.
Bryn: Fine, I'll go now. You clean the house and I'll be back soon.
Seph: Me? CLEAN?
Bryn glared daggers at him.
Seph: Alright, but just this once.
Bryn: Thank you.
SHe kissed him on the cheek, then left.
Seph: Me? No way!
He picked up the phone.
Seph: Mere?
Mere: Sephiroth? THis is a surprise. What?
Seph: I'll pay you 300 gil, if you come clean my house for me.
Mere: 1000 gil
Seph: 350

Seph: I'll give you 625 gil and not a drop more.
Mere: Deal. WHat time do you want me to come over?
Seph: Now would be good.

Seph: Bout time.
Mere: So where's Bryn?
Seph: Doctor. Are you going to get to work or not?
Mere: Fine.
So Mere cleans the house while Seph sits on the couch playing Firnal Fantasy 7. (like always)
Later
Seph: THanks
Gives Mere 625 gil.
Mere: Anytime. Bye. Tell Bryn I said hi.
Hour later
Bryn comes home wearing a big smile.
Seph: What are you smiling about?
Bryn: I never thought you would clean for me.
Seph: grins: What did the doctor say?
Bryn walks to him.
Bryn: Seph, I'm going to have a baby.
*9 long months later*
Seph: Your going to break my hand!
Bryn: I'll break more than that if you don't stop whining.
She loosend her grip a bit. He put his hand on her shoulder.
Bryn: Stop touching me. Thats what got us in to this you know.
He took his hand off.
Seph: Damn. You sure are crabby today.
Dr. : Almost there. Breath slowly and push hard.
Bryn: Owww. Ugh, huh, huh, huh.
Seph: Your squeezing to hard again!
Bryn: Oh shut up.
Dr. : THere's the head. Just a bit more, now push.
Bryn: I am pushing damn it!
Dr. : Congradulations on your new baby girl. Half saiy-jin and half hu-- um... I mean... Sephiroth.
Seph: You can let go of my hand now.
She let go of his blue hand. THe doctor handed her the baby.
Bryn: What are we going to name her?
Seph: Your daughter, you decide.
Bryn: How 'bout, Brena.
Seph: WHere did you get that from?
He got the look.
Seph: Alright! Brena it is.

Bryn: Bout time we got out of that hospital.
Seph: Why does she have a tail?
Bryn: She's half saiy-jin.
Seph: Where's yours??
Bryn: Piccolo pulled it off.
Seph: Wonder what she'll be like.
Bryn: Hopefully, not like you.
Seph: What's that supposed to mean?
Bryn: She doesn't need to be calling Meteor to destroy the planet.
Seph: I wasn't gonna destroy it, just...
Bryn: I know, just injure it.
Seph: Let's stop arguing, ok?
Bryn: Ok.
She put Brena in her crib and turned around to face Sephiroth. She stood close to him. He put his arms around her.
Seph: Maybe she'll turn out like you.
They started to kiss when...
Brena: Waaaaggggghhhhhh!!! Waaaaggggggggh!!!
Bryn turned around to the baby.
Bryn: This could take some getting used to.
Seph: I'll take care of her this time.
He picked up Brena and she immediately became quiet.
Bryn: She's definitely a daddy's girl.
