~~Magic Moment~~

Over in the mists of the roaring waterfall,

I spy a handsome unicorn standing proud and tall,

I shan't go near lest he bolt away,

I watch him, secure in the knowledge he doesn't know I'm here.

His white coat gleaming in the sun of day,

His mane of silver glistening with drops of mountain mist,

His ebony eyes mirroring the majestic heart within.

Suddenly, he turns those eyes to me,

I freeze knowing that this magic moment is about to end.

I know his mighty hooves will soon pound away.

But then, our eyes meet and I realize there is a kinship there,

In our locked gaze he seems to say, my friend, your heart is pure,

And you can join the unicorns without worry and without fear.
