I am so glad you came to visit Jake.
Jake is a beautiful, well built, male Rottie. He
came to live with us
March 1, 2000.
He was adopted by a family with children, 6 months ago
from a Animal Shelter.
The folks who adopted him lived in the city and could
not keep him there.
Jake had been around children and was leash trained.
He had not experienced other animals.
He went through a big adjustment, and I have to say he
adjusted wonderfully. Oh, I wish you could have
seen him with
cats running about
and we can't forget his chicken and goat experience.
I was glad to get him, because of his wonderful personality.
Gypsy really like his presence
too! They are really two beauties together.
I hope to have some pics up soon.
She is learning him the ropes of farm life. He
had his first trip to the field this week and also a short 4-wheeler trip
both kinda took the energy out of him. We told
him he was a city
dog. He is also likes being with people all the
time, I think he really likes that part of it. He just can't imagine the
other dogs and cats
and everything else BUT he has fit right in beautifully.
While I was in the process of building this page Jake got very sick.
He was taken to our vet. where he lived his last 10 days of
life.
We did bring him home, the last day where he died.
I can no longer work on this page. But have started him a
memorial page.
