Kinky, have been a fan since you performed
with the Texas Jewboys a long time ago at The Quiet Knight on W. Belmont
in Chicago. Have read all your books and passed along to many others. Just
about finished with Spanking Watson and laughing out loud on the commuter
train home. Have also had the pleasure of seeing you perform solo and met
at book signings. Hey, where's the long awaited movie and when will you
be back in Chicago You're a true American Legend Enjoy

I had the honour to have Kinky Friedman
visiting my local bar, called Gillestugan, in Gothenburg last Saturday!
Kinky and Little Jewford put on the greatest show ever! Mr. Friedman gave
me a lucky plectrum with the words "Find what you like and let it kill
you". So far the only thing that has happened is that my cars battery unloaded.
But...maybe I would not have been here today, to tell you this if my car
acctually had started. A carcrash was waiting for me downtown that raining
and thundering sunday... ...of course, I was at home eating sausage when
that should have happened. Thanks Kinky! :) best regards Hans Lundholm

Loving "Spanking Watson" so far. Does
it have a decent ending? That is, as opposed to your other books. Only
kidding, Kinkstah!

Hey there Kinksta, keep up the good work.

I saw the Kinky show in Gothenburg, Sweden
yesterday afternoon, and I had a great time. I loved every second of the
great show. The only thing was that the show could´ve benn longer
than the hour it lasted. I was going to bring one of his books to get it
signed, but I accidently forgot to do so. Maybe I´ll get another
chance later on. Jerker Emanuelson Sweden PS. Would´ve loved to have
heard the comment Kinky might´ve had on my first name when signing
the book!

I just wanted to say that I saw The Kinkster's
show in Malmo (Sweden) last night and it was a great experience. An interesting
remark my girlfriend made, was "he looks younger than I expected...and
shorter". For me the night was just the way I expected, a entertaining
mix of music, wit and wisdom! Don't miss the man if he gets to a place
near you! May the Kink be with you all!

Hi Kinky! I really enjoyed the concert

handle it. We enjoyed this evening, and the guys from my band and myself
too, we got the real Kinkymania these weeks. By the way, how about Regula
from Sw tzerland? Shalom George!

Someone in the guest book spoke about
laughing out loud. I can't think of too many people who can make me do
that, but already into 2nd chapter of Spanking Watson, have laughed out
loud at least 3-4 times! Great writing, whether in New Yawk or Texas...won
erful stuff! Will look for the "tribute CD". Somewhere back in the cobwebs
I remember the Texas Jewboys..........

Watson, never knew it would be so much fun! I love it when you make me
laugh out loud ~ I never know what to expect from your books, & I was
embarrassed to be seen carrying this one around (hid the cover occasional

Cats and computers.... I've just spent
half an hour cleaning cat fur from my mouse - this is only marginally better
than cleaning mouse hair from your cat! Love your books - I've shown your
piece on 'Cuddles' to every friend and lots of acquaintances - it always
reduces me to a blubbering wreck.... Love from Australia.

This is true story. Yesterday read papagraph
to wife from Spanking Watson about hope that cat would get sense of humor.
Apparently overheard by cat. This morning learned that cat wanted to buy
family room rug as evidenced by large deposit she placed on it As I poured
bourbon and cornflakes I told cat she might feel this proved sense of humor
but I felt it was mean spirited. Cat said nothing .

Kinkster, looking forward to seeing you
perform in De Melkweg, the Netherlands. I would like to send you greetings

Yo Kinkster!! Roadkill is the greatest!!
Also you web site... We live in Texas, and wondered about your music. D/loaded
the WAV file "Biscuits", and upon playing it the first time, several undentified
species of spider, a scorpion, and centipede made a hasty retreat from
my computer mounted speakers. Loved the Music, and also highly recommend
it for computer pest control. Rushing out to buy the cd for future invasions

Dear Kinky! I was very glad when I found
out that you are going to perform in Gothenburg on Oct 23rd, cause that's
near my home town Halmstad. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Being a musician
and singer/songwriter myself I hope I will get the chance to give you a
copy of my latest CD "American songs" which features a cover version of
your beautiful song "Ride 'em jewboy". I actually recorded it BEFORE I
ever heard of Pearls in the snow, cause it was my best friends favourite
Kinkster-tune off your epic Sold American album. My album is filled with
good old traditionals, a few almost unheard Dylan rarities (outtakes),
and songs by Jerry Garcia, Doc Pomus, Cecil A Null, Woody Guth ie......and
of course K. Friedman. Some might say it's a folk album with a country
twist...but I often talk about it as a "lyrics album", because I have chosen
songs with stories and not just "merry old hits". My publicist said "bad
idea boy!" cause it was so utterly non commercial and too "real" and well
played (these days computers run everything!!), but I wisely ignored him
and did it anyway. And I am damned proud of it! Anyway, hope to meet you
in Gothenburg in connection to your show... Have a nice trip to Sweden
Svante

Kinkstah, If you ever find your travels
bring you to Flagstaff, AZ (where standing on a corner is a hell of a lot
better than standing on one in Windslow, regardless of the song) I'd be
honored to stand you to a shot or two of Irish and a good cigar... Actually,
if you ever kick off a reunion tour of the Texas Jewboys, I would hope
that Flagstaff would be on the tour list... Jews are few and far between
here and I suspect they might be expecting Klemzer music. My biggest gripe
is that our cable system does not carry MSNBC so I can't watch you on Imus.
Keep writing, no matter how much effort you feel you put into your books,
this reader gets a hell of a lot out of them.

in Houston, Texas, Sept 14, 1999. It was so good seeing you. I am 37 and
I grew up listening to you as a teenager. My parents played you music all
the time. One of my favorite memories is driving through Texas hill country
headed for Luchenbach or Bandera to a chili cookoff with Kinky Friedman
on the tape player. My sister, brother and I knew all your songs by heart.
When we heard you coming to the Duck, My mom, sister and I just had to

for coming to "The Duck". Hope you come there again if you do, I will be
