1998-2001

Mitchell wasn't a great band. But it meant alot to us, and apparently to alot of our friends. For four years we had the most fun anyone could possibly have had playing shows and making what we thought was music. Seriously though, as self-deprecating as we were known to be we really loved being Mitchell and only because it allowed us to go somewhere, play, and have fun with a huge group of people. If you were ever at a Mitchell show I thank you so much. We may not have achieved everything we dreamed of when we started but the things we did accomplish will stick with us for the rest of our lives. I don't know if many people realized how amazing it is to have a band in middle school and high school and have your friends support you so much. Hopefully everyone will think fondly of their Mitchell memories. The best part was always after we played getting to hang out with everyone. Whether it was at the Waffle House on our first time outside of Tampa Bay, or all those parties we were invited to play at, being saved by Jon Rafalski at USF, the Simpletons duets, the telephone calls, the jumps into pools, I could spend millions of words recalling all the great times but in all the point is, Mitchell really impacted our lives in some positive ways. Thanks for everything.

p.s. Also big thanks to our international fans in especially the guys in Japan and Norway. The internet is an incredible thing and it still blows me away that someone on the opposite end of the Earth owns the CD that we put together in Mike's mom's office.

We will leave this website up for nostalgic purposes, as well as some practical. I am constantly using our old links section to catch up with old friends. So have fun exploring. Leave us a message on the guestbook, too.

For Mitchell related music check out Bear Country/The Sugar Oaks. Every member of Mitchell AND the Simpletons has played with this band at one point or another.
