Grand 50 Tower
This 730 foot high tower was the tallest tower
in Taiwan at the time of construction in 1992. The composite
structural-steel-and-concrete superstructure allows
for Grand 50's height, and is a significant achievement in the
areas of design and construction in a region where typhoons and
earthquakes are commonplace.
