Latinoamericana Tower

The Latinoamericana Tower is a 595ft building which was the
tallest building in Mexico at the time of completion in 1956.
The tower is the tallest building in the world to have
resisted a major earthquake like the one in July of 1957.
At the site where the Latinoamericana Tower is located there
was a pre-hispanic structure and, later, the St. Francis Convent.
