I hereby want to tell everyone that I love you all and think I will end with a bit of historical mythology just to freak-out the sane ones left not dozing.
It seems that there once was a good, wise, old king in the Norselands called King Odin. He had a son named Lodi, who was dark in spirit and in hair and skin coloring, a prodigal son I suppose, sullen, jealous and suspicious of others. Odin's second son, Thor, was good, strong, and handsome, with long golden locks and fair complexion. It seemed to be a classic case of good and evil, yet based on common genes of parentage and empirical upbringing. Tonight's story begins with Lodi, soon to graduate from high school with barely passing grades, and Thor running track.
Their father, good king Odin, a fanatical computer hacker and erstwhile weather channel fanatic, sits reading his tea leaves. "Oh Babe...", he shouts as he absent-mindedly waves his empty brandy glass towards his reposing wifely figure, Queen Whatzit. She chooses to ignore his drunken' male-chauvinist, presumptionistic attitude and continues to read her People Magazine which details the life of important role figures such as Dame Monica and Thomas Hanksmiester.
Tomorrow's episode will be more action oriented, with Thor running for Governor, and Lodi playing Professional Hockey. Odin will develop an automated night-time ship navigational system utilizing star positions and miniature solar collectors which take advantage of minute quantities of light rays which originate in far off galactic nova explosions. Good Queen Whatzit will meet a wizard who has discovered the secret to making gold from aluminum cans.
I, meanwhile, will fetch the Z's on the couch that Ron has missed.
