I got up this morning and walked down the stairs
Turned on the puter but no one was there
I went in to work for two hours or so
Got a few things done so decided to go
Got home made some coffee
Cleaned the stove with some scrub free
Terry came down and we made a grocery list
So I grabbed my keys and money in my fist
Called dad to see what he needed
Then to the store I proceded
The parking lot was already full
Hardly a cart anywhere I could pull
At last I got my groceries and quickly headed home
But to my surprise as through Season's Ridge I did roam
I found two sets of matching bedspreads and sheets
for Johnny and Justin their room they completes (sorry)
By the time I got home our ice cream was melting
So much to do and the race I was losing
I needed quickly to get things put in their place
But when I walked in the whole kitchen was a disgrace!
Terry a cabinet had removed from the wall
to find a leak that had sprung up late last fall
Needless to say his back he has hurt again
When will I ever be able to show this man
With his ailments he has limits a plenty
He better wait till there is help all ready!!
Then Leaving Terry home to work with J
I went to Plano a ball game to watch Justin Play
He hit the ball a few times pretty good
Like his coach, team mates, and I new he would!
Then to Tami's house the kids and I flew
It was almost supper time this I knew
So on to Hardy's to get food for the crew
then back to Montgomery our distance shorter grew
By now the cabinet was gone and the stove back in place
I'm not sure yet who is winning this race
The grandkids decided the night with grandma to spend
so Dawn graciously her bed had to lend
They are snoring and coughing and talking right now,
I love them so much I can't tell you how
They brighten my day and my night with such pleasure
Their smiles and their hugs I surely do treasure
And so Saturday has ended
my story it has blended
My sleep time it has depleted
