100 Bain Avenue
Completed in in 1920s, the Courts consisted of 260 apartments, from one to four bedrooms, in 25 three-storey buildings, as well as two small double houses, scattered over two large city blocks. This unique set of buildings was the first social housing built in Canada.

Housing for homeless women founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Named in honour of Sister Delphine Fontbonne who came to Canada from the USA 1851 to run an orphanage.
