    Originally built in 1891 by Darling and Curry, and recently comletely rebuilt with the original front and some of the interior retained. The building is an outstanding example of maintaining and glorifying architecture of the past by giving it a new life and purpose that resonates with its history.

    Located on the site of the old Toronto General Hospital, the MaRS Centre incorporates a heritage building within two new buildings to create "a physical anchor" for the MaRS vision: a convergence innovation centre that fosters collaboration among science, business and capital sectors.

  9. Grace Church on-the-Hill

    This is the 15th Anglican churc in Toronto designed by renowned architect Eden Smith, opening services were held in December, 1913. The Gothic-style Grace Church on-the-Hill houses significant works of art, most notably its many stained glass windows, installed between 1918 and 1957.
