The Sweetest Thing

Memories will never fade
With love that now appears
Upon the mantel's scarf of lace
Our glory in these years

Two of us together
The way it was back then
With every new tomorrow
Our life begins again

Words we said repeated
Just like the nursery rhymes
Love is there forever
Gathered pleasant times

If I forget to tell you
As we go along our way
These treasures here forever
They never go away

Love is just a constant
Life's ever present source
Of happiness within my heart
Always there of course

Picture perfect memories
Within my life today
Tomorrow and for always
Constantly to stay.
