You are invited to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for a family reunion. The family reunion begins at 4 P.M.. Sunday, July 4, 1999 continues through Monday, July 5 and ends at 5 P.M. on Tuesday, July 6. Come to the Convention Centre located in the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa/Resort Hotel at 24 Fairford Street East. Why Moose Jaw? Because Amanda Ruttle chose to come here to teach school in 1888. The sparsely populated and relatively primitive Moose Jaw, was where she met and married Arthur Llewellyn Davies, a Welshman, a farmer and an early settler pioneer. The rest is our shared history. We, some of the descendants of Amanda Ruttle and Arthur Llewellyn Davies, hope that you can fit the reunion into your busy summer schedule. For the American relatives we hope you’ll consider celebrating the 4th of July with us in Moose Jaw. We encourage you to begin planning now and to spread the details of this amazing happening to other members of your family. When you make your decision to come please let us know.
