Headline: Has a Kindly Remembrance
To the Editor of the Mirror.
Dear Sir:
Through the kindness of another I have had the privilege of seeing a copy of your paper. Permit me to congratulate you on presenting such a clean, creditable weekly journal.
When I first looked down on Lake Wabamun, fourteen years ago last March, I saw the day when a town would arise on its shore. Now I am pleased to see such a tangible evidence of its existence, growth and prosperity.
It has been permitted me to witness the arrival of most of those who now reside in and around this popular resort and though in some respects we have widely differed, yet in one thing at least we have all agreed, that there is a bright future before this part of our beloved province.
While absent in body I shall be with you in spirit; and through the medium of your weekly visits I hope to be kept informed of the doings in my western home town.
Very respectfully yours,
D.H. Lent
