OLD TIMERS DAYS -- are being observed at Sears, Roebuck and Co., in Presque Isle. A contest is being held with a $25 cash prize going to the couple whose ages total the largest number. Pictured above are: Mrs. Phyllis Allen, Mrs. Eunice Dyer, clerks, and Mr. and Mrs. George Adams, Limestone, and Mrs. Ted Dubay, clerk. Mr. and Mrs. Adams were the first couple to register in the contest. Their ages totaled 158 years. The winners of the contest, which closes Saturday will be announced next week. The majority of the Sears clerks are wearing old fashioned costumes during the Old Timers Days.
