Over 100 relatives and friends from Maine and New Brunswick attended. Introductory remarks were by the Rev. F. Goode Foster, pastor of the Assembly.
The program was: vocal selections by Dorothy Wilson and Murray Shaw; trio by Joanne Durost, Iris York and Donna Wilson.
A solo by Penny Burden of Washburn; vocal duet by Alice Harris and Paul Donn, of East Hartford: duet by Wilmont Kierstead and Merlin Cray of Presque Isle; vocal solo by John Miller of Caribou; Reading by Mrs. Norma Wright; songs by the Vinal Thomas family of Houlton; solo by Linda Parks of Caribou; solo by Marian Durost; remarks by the Rev. Bernard Patton of Presque Isle.
The prayer of dedication was by Evangelist David Howe of Westernport, Md.
Mrs. Emlna Bubar circulated the guest book, and Mrs. Janet Nadeau of Caribou and Mrs. Faustina Burlock presided at the gift table. Mrs. Annie Wilson cut and served the anniversary cake.
The Wilsons have been missionaries at Southern Rhodesia, Africa, for the past 22 years, having returned to this country in June.
Mrs. Wilson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hickling, formerly of Houlton, now of Canada. The Rev. Mr. Wilson is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilson of Mars Hill.
They have five children, Lawrence, of Southern Rhodesia, who is doing part time gospel work, Susanne attending Long Island Bible school, at New York; Norma, attending Bible College, North Carolina; Henry and Carolyn of Mars Hill.
